Cementitious Liquid Waterproofing

Cementing solutions are often offered as ready-to-use products. A resin base—typically an acrylic co-polymer with water-proofing properties—and a cementation driven roller or by spray make up the two components’ systems. To shield the layer from tensile thermal expansion on the roof, we recommended placing a cloth scrim across the expansion joints. Since cementation methods have a strong resilience to UV radiation, they are frequently used as a protective layer atop spray-applied polyurethane thermal insulation. Since they demand only the barest of application abilities, maintenance contractors favour them. It should be emphasized, nonetheless, that care should be taken when selecting a waterproofing and durability membrane with a sufficient co-polymer content.
